Nord Anglia International School, Dublin

Ronan Meally Consulting Engineers Ltd were commissioned to provide design, supervision and certification of the conversion of 6,000m2 Microsoft Office into State of the Art School including full interactive systems, ICT, Lighting, HVAC

Industrial

Duggan Steel Group

Duggan Profiles & Steel Service Centre Ltd. is the steel sheet profiling division of the Duggan Steel Group. It manufactures a range of single skin profiles as well as a purlin and rail system and a wide range of accessories for steel buildings. The company also includes a steel service centre to supply raw material to a variety of manufacturing industries. Since its inception the steel service centre has provided an increasing range of steel products and services, from slitting and recoiling to cut-to-length and blanking. RMCE was responsible for the mechanical and Electrical engineering for this facility from concept to completion.

Glanbia HQ, Kilkenny

Glanbia is a global nutrition company, grounded in science and nature and dedicated to providing better nutrition for every step of life’s journey. Its headquarters are in Kilkenny with facilities in many counties. RMCE have been responsible for the consulting mechanical and electrical engineering of the headquarters, offices and depots since its establishment.

Municipal

Dublin Zoo

RMCE are employed as Consulting Mechanical and Electrical Engineers involved in ongoing building and infrastructural works with Dublin Zoo. RMCE work closely with civil engineering firm Hayes Higgins Partnership to provide integrated solutions. Dublin Zoo was opened in 1831 by the Zoological Society of Dublin. Recently RMCE were involved in the restoration of Haughton House which was originally built in 1898 as tearooms.

Other works within the Zoo which we have been involved include:

Our Engineering input to the Zoo is extremely varied and ranges from building services to site services including creating waterfalls, wiers, pools, water features, temperature and humidity controls, nature sound systems, electric grasses and fencing, animal and personnel access controls and CCTV.

National Indoor Arena

Ronan Meally Consulting Engineers Ltd were commissioned in 2021 to upgrade the lighting in the National Indoor Arena to Energy Efficient LED, requiring Lighting Analysis to ensure minimum levels of lighting were achieved through out.

Commercial

Connolly's Red Mill's, Kilkenny

The RED MILLS flagship retail store has just opened up in the heart of Kilkenny City. In this purpose built, state of the art premises, located at Cillin Hill Retail selling a selection of Country Living wares - from saddles and horse feeds, to clothing & footwear from top brands. RMCE was responsible for the mechanical and Electrical engineering for this facility from concept to completion.
Guiney's Department Store, Belfast 
Ronan Meally Consulting Engineers Ltd were commissioned in 2020 to provide total Mechanical & Electrical Consultancy services including Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Hot & Cold Water Supply, Building Controls, Energy Efficient Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm, Security, and Data. 

Healthcare

Sacred Heart Hospital Carlow

Ronan Meally Consulting Engineers Ltd have worked closely with the HSE all over Ireland, and were commissioned to design and supervise the complete Mechanical & Electrical refurbishment of existing wards throughout the hospital. Include low energy radiant heating, heat recovery ventilation, medical gases, LED lighting, and nurse call system.

Conservation

Johnstown Castle & Visitor Centre

Ronan Meally Consulting Engineers Ltd were commissioned by Teagasc and The Irish Heritage Trust to provide Mechanical & Electrical Design and Supervision of  the refurbishment of the main Castle and also a new state of the art Visitor Centre 

Services provided include Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm, Data Services, security, general electrical services, ventilation, above ground sanitation, hot and cold water, and heating services. 

Services included correspondence and planning with utility providers, building surveys, design of services, coordination with the client, tendering to contractors, supervision of installation and sign off.

Malahide Castle Banqueting Hall

Ronan Meally Consulting Engineers Ltd were commissioned by Fingal County Council to provide M&E services for the renovation of the Banqueting Hall in Malahide Castle, Dublin, which dates back to the 14th Century. An integral part of the project was protecting the many pieces of original art in the hall, which have been newly refurbished also. RMCE designed a new air conditioning system with temperature sensors which are discretely hidden below the windows to protect the art, new exhibition and chandelier lighting, with adjustable controls, and emergency lighting.  

Hospitality

The Garden House Cafe

Ronan Meally Consulting Engineers Ltd were commissioned in 2021 to design and supervise the Lighting in The Garden House Cafe, part of a large Garden Centre in Malahise, Dublin.

Creating a relaxing and functional lighting to a busy cafe, combined with energy efficient and high quality fittings, the cafe is now open for business.

Kilkea Castle 

Ronan Meally Consulting Engineers Ltd Were Commissioned to Provide Mechanical & Electrical Consultancy Services including Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Full Kitchen design, Building Controls, Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Security, Fire Alarm and Data for the stunning function room at Kilkea Castle.

Mount Congreve

Ronan Meally Consulting Engineers were appointed to design the mechanical and electrical services to the new visitors centre and café in Mount Congreve House.  Mount Congreve is an 18th-century Georgian estate and mansion situated near the village of Kilmeaden in County Waterford.

Ronan Meally Consulting Engineers Ltd were commissioned to provide total Mechanical & Electrical Consultancy services including Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Hot & Cold Water Supply, Building Controls, Energy Efficient Lighting, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm, Security, and Data for 20 blocks, total 120 apartments, circulation areas, and amenities, over 6 seperate phases.
